Applebee's Grill + Bar

"My friend & I were there yesterday at 2:00 we are both elderly and we ordered the 2 for 30.00 We waited 30 minutes for our wings as an appetizer and finally asked waitress if we were going to get them as an appetizer. There was only 2 other customers in there and she said yes as she sat at bar looking at her cell phone. About 10 minutes later, our wings came out and they were great. They were fitting to eat, but within eight minutes they brought our food out. The waitress was holding the plates with a rag and said the plates are very hot. We had ordered 6 ounce sirloin, broccoli, and garlic potatoes, I ordered mine medium well she ordered her medium rare. The steak knife was laying on the The plate And as I went to pick up the steak knife to cut my steak because I could see it was bleeding and not medium well the knife was so hot it burnt the palm of my hand. The manager came over. She definitely said the steak was not medium well and that she was sorry about the steak knife burning my hand, but she burns herself 2 to 3 times a day down there.. After another 15 or 20 minutes, they bring my plate back. Broccoli was complete mush on both plates. They had put some warm potatoes on top of the Potatoes that were sitting and got cold while they were re-cooking the steak. I did not eat the broccoli it would not even hold a fork. It was nothing but mush the potatoes like I said were cold with warmed up potatoes on top I did not eat those. I did eat all but two bites of my steak and this was a 6 ounce my friends steak was not medium rare. It was beyond rare therefore she could only eat half of hers. To did eat her potatoes and her broccoli because she was so hungry. We never seen the waitress again until we were getting ready to be done and she come by and ask if everything was OK and I told her actually it wasn’t I had burnt my hand. The broccoli was mush, and the potatoes was nasty because of the way they done it she blew up said she was going to get the manager. A male manager appeared very hostile, and while speaking with him, this waitress starts hollering that she can’t take no more of this that she’s got to go outside and cool off and ask us if we wanted to join her as if she wanted to fight us! Meanwhile, the male manager is telling us that we are not going to get our food for free which we never asked to but we did think that he should have discounted it and he said if you don’t pay for it, I’m calling the police we never told him we weren’t paying for the food We left our money on the table and we left and I said I’m calling corporate on you. He said go ahead this is a franchise. I’ve managed several restaurants and have ate many times over different states and I have never been treated like this! I did call corporate and the lady was real nice and said the owner would get back with me. Then when my daughter found out how we were treated she went down there to speak with him and he charged at her and told her to leave and called the police on her!"

"We were traveling through and stopped to eat with local family. There was a disgruntled employee who disrupted the whole place. I've never been to an Applebee's that didn't have ingredients for an oriental chicken salad or won ton tacos. So I got regular chicken salad. The chicken was terrible. It seemed to be all the trimming parts. It was full of tendons and skin. Horrible"

"What a wonderful experience we had at this Applebee's. The food was very good we enjoyed all you could eat ribs and they were delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we needed for nothing, she kept our drinks full and made sure we had plenty of napkins, and she kept the ribs coming. All I can say is this was a great experience at Applebee's we will be back. I must admit over the last couple of years we have not had the best experience at an Applebee's restaurant but this was our first time going to Applebee's in Benton Arkansas and wow this restaurant is not run like the one in Little Rock. This was a fantastic Applebee's A fun time was had by all in our group"

"We had a great date night. Everything was delicious. Wee both got a slab of ribs meal. Those rips were falling off the bone. We ordered strawberry margaritas and they didn't have any glasses but it did matter to us. Those drinks had us lit. Our server was great. Everything was great, and it wasn't crowded at all."
