Idlewild Spa

"The experience started nicely and we enjoyed the outside hot tub with the cold breeze, but it ended on a sour note. My sister and I went to get facials; my treat for her birthday gift. I tried scheduling at the same time, but couldn't due to only 1 esthetician being available so my sister had a 2-2:50 appointment and I took the 3-3:50 appointment. As I got out of my facial, I went looking for her but couldn't find her. I looked at my phone and see that she said that she was waiting in the lobby. I asked why, and she replied with that at 3:30 they told her it was time to check out and that they would notify me that she had "checked out" (which they didn't). So, even though I felt lightheaded after my facial, I rushed out because my sister was waiting in the lobby for me. I felt embarrassed after hearing this and don't understand why my sister couldn't have waited 20 more mins for me to get out of my appointment. IF there is a 30 min limit after appointment, there should be notice of this somewhere at checkout, on the website, or email appointment confirmation AND be reminded of this upon arrival. I have a feeling that they just wanted to kick everyone out around 3:30 to close up quickly since it appeared that there were no 4:00 appointments, and earlier in the day there were ladies in the hot tub longer than 30 mins after their facial. I am disappointed in this experience and will not be going back even though this location is close by. Save your money and go somewhere else."

"This has been my go-to spa for a girls’ weekend. The massages and facials are wonderful with great staff. Unfortunately the new policy of only two hours to utilize the amenities detracted from the experience. They reminded us of the time limit multiple times. It was not very relaxing having to worry about the time then getting kicked out. It wasn’t even busy. Plus, the outdoor hot tub was closed, which I understand is not their fault with the weather. This experience really wasn’t worth the steep price tag. Will be going somewhere else in the future."

"Had an amazing facial here today. The amenities were spectacular, staff was kind and the facial was excellent. You pay a little more for the quality of the space (outdoor whirlpool, sauna, steam room and salt room) but it was well worth it. We were celebrating our anniversary and they even gave us a nice little glass of Prosecco and some chocolate which was so sweet!"
