Kids' Hair

"Had both of my kids' hairs cut at this location. We were 6 minutes late due to traffic. We walked in, and no customers were there, and the three hair stylists were just standing around. One of them kept telling us that we were halfway through our appointment, and they had ones after us and basically, how inconvenient it was for them. I told them we could leave if needed since we were late, and she continued to make it a big deal and just kept going at it even though she told us it was fine. One of my kids was scared and crying off and on during his haircut. The stylist did absolutely nothing to try and calm him down and just seemed annoyed. She didn't speak to him or anything. We've gone to other kids' hair locations and had great experiences, but this location seems to be the only one we have issues at as we have gone here before with issues. So if you want to take your kids to kids' hair, I'd recommend any other location besides this one."

"The online scheduling software is extremely dated and clunky. I tried to book two appointments for the same time, but now my account is only showing one. My phone calls were never answered, the message on the answering machine is over a week old, I did not get a call back after leaving a voicemail, and I visited the - Minnetonka - location today (during business hours) only to find the door locked and no one inside. Hard to tell if the place is even still in business. I'm nervous that if we show up for our appointments, no one will be there or they'll say we only have one time slot booked."

"Liked it but honestly annoyed at one of the stylists. It’s common courtesy to ask the parent if they are ok with putting a color spray in their kid’s hair, but instead the stylist asked my son first. It’s not a HUGE deal, just felt a little disrespectful to me as a mother, and maybe a learning lesson for me to be more vocal about asking me first before turning the question to my 5 year old and next time for the stylist to always default first to mom/dad on whether they’re ok paying extra for color spray."

"I will never go back to this place. Took my 5 year old son there for a haircut and even while we were waiting, I could tell the stylist was going to be rude. This was my son's second time getting his haircut, and he is still nervous around the clippers and scissors. The stylist was less than sympathetic to his nervousness, and instead treated him like he was being unreasonable and inconveniencing her. She even made a comment that things would go easier if he wasn't acting like a baby. She made no attempt to help ease his nervousness whatsoever. She also did not even attempt to cut his hair the way I asked, and did a very poor job all together. I would not ever recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere."

"Enjoyable place to get your little ones hair cut. Staff was welcoming. Cindy did a fantastic cutting my daughter's hair and was very polite and comforting. They had plenty of distractions to keep the kids occupied during their haircut."
