"I have not actually been here yet but was reading such positive reviews and feedback and wondering/suggesting about a "Seniors" category for mature styles, discounted prices, gray hair specific treatments, maybe offer special or handicapped accommodations (ie; handrails, reading material with large print, etc.) and perhaps stylists who are knowledgeable about the specific hair care issues this group presents."

"I have nothing but amazing things to say about my first experience at RK Salon! They were super attentive to what I wanted done and the whole appt was so relaxing. I also had my 2.5yr old with me & without hesitation they let her make herself at home. By the end of my appt my super shy daughter was running around laughing with the owner and said she wants to go back to get her hair cut. Thank you for having such a fun, family friendly establishment. We will definitely be back!"

"I visited this salon a month ago with my little girl. We sat in Lupe's chair. Not only was she friendly when she greeted us, but she was just a vibe. I really enjoyed her as a human, and my daughter and I walked out with haircuts that we both loved. 100% recommend Lupe! As for the salon itself- it was clean, classy without being overdone, it smelled good, and was welcoming. At 42 years of age, I have finally found a salon I can say "the salon I love" and recommend to people :)"

"I took my little sister here a few weeks ago for a haircut and am not impressed to say the least. I waited in the car for her as she went in and when she came out her hair was still dripping wet. She told me that her stylist said that she couldn’t finish blow drying her hair because her next client was waiting so she only blow dried front pieces and sent my sister on her way. I was immediately upset because being a generous teenager she is and not understanding that her stylist didn’t finish her service, she still provided her stylist a great tip. I was going to go in and say something however my sister did not want me to. I’m upset that my sister was sent off with WET hair. The stylist’s justification for not being able to finish blow drying was because my sister “had too much hair”. This is so unprofessional and not how you treat/retain new clients. My sister also asked for layers but THIS is not layers. See pics. Her stylists chopped off major pieces of my sisters hair in between layers, hidden. These chunks of hair (or should I say ‘layers’) is about 5 inches long from her scalp. Her haircut is overall choppy. But this is unacceptable. Literal chunks of her hair was cut off."
