"A little bit pricy for what you get. Staff is very helpful. You select meat and pay by the pound. Majority of the options are already cooked prior to ordering. Jalapeño bacon wrapped brisket twisters - an item that came out separate when ordered. Overall experience not terrible."

"I got the brisket, turkey and jalapeno pineapple sausage with a side of potato salad and a drink. Holy crap it was $30! The main thing this place was missing was Dr. Pepper. They have Pibb...gross. I don't usually like the mayo potato salad but this one wasn't bad. The brisket was super dry. I struggled to chew it even with sauce on it. The turkey just wasn't good. Had a weird taste to it. Surprisingly, the jalapeño pineapple sausage was pretty good. I'm not sure if I would come back. I probably will because they may have just been having a bad day. The price by itself is enough to get me to say no to coming back. There should be a sample platter where you get a little bit of 4 meats a side and a drink for like $18 or something reasonable. Update: Got home and gave the dogs some brisket... the pug wouldn't touch it. She loves brisket."

"Blue Ember Smokehouse is quite nice. The food is really good as well! I had 1/2 lb of brisket, the baked beans, and the sweet potato with cinnamon and butter. It was pretty great! A manager came over and checked on us, and she was very pleasant and genuine. I'd go back a few more times."

"The food line is like a café style. Start with your meat, then sides. Everything is a la carte. 2 people about $60. I was able to request 'less' fat for my brisket. This made my brisket very dry. But they have very tasty sauces. Potato salad was a mayo based loaded potatoe salad. I liked it and my husband didn't. The BBQ beans were as expected. The brisket twisters were basic stuffed jalapeños (yes, they were delicious). We were able to get our food and seated quickly. There are local BBQ options that are better, but this wasn't bad. I would go again and recommend it to my family. 2- 1/2lb brisket, 2 drinks, 2 sides and brisket twisters: about $60."
