"I love this place. It beats the heck out of that large store or even that market when I just don't feel like the drive into town or the crowds. I really would love if they'd carry fresh fruits. Even a few veggies too. I enjoy looking at the garden goods when in season. Most of their seasonal Items are fun as well. The prices have gone up like everywhere else but I like the convenience. They need to bring back the dollar sliced salami and pepperoni. The chocolate salted caramels are the best."

"Dollar General operates with the lowest standards I have ever seen. The store is always messy. There is merchandise on the floor making it hard to navigate through the store. Prices are missing on the shelf. Seems they're always stocking a truck. Associates appear to have too much going on for actual customer service such as checking you out. This chain's only saving grace is location and the customers laziness to drive to Target or Walmart."
