Bogart's Entertainment Center

"Bogart’s rocks for 50+. There gets to be a point in your life where you feel like you don’t fit in at most bars, but Bogart’s is the exception! Not only do they have fun trivia nights and karaoke in the Back Alley Bar during the week, they have live music every weekend. I hadn’t been there in at least 15 years, but I recently rediscovered it. The other night I saw that they had a concert, where The Magic ‘70s Sunshine Band performed. I had wanted to check out a concert there, but knew that physically I can only stand for five minutes or so, yet I didn’t want to use my walker as seating. I’ve seen a number on the site that said to call/text “Chris” with any questions. I got a response from him almost immediately. He sent me the floor layout, and let me choose between five high top or low top tables. It was assuring to me, knowing I wouldn’t have to worry about mobility issues. When we arrived, we were seated at a reserved table (every table had a carafe of water and snacks already on it—a nice touch.) Before we’d even ordered from our server, Chris came up and introduced himself to us, and was very gracious. Throughout the night, I saw him and others checking on all the tables to make sure they were getting good service. The bottom line was that it was an all-around great experience. It was an incredibly fun band, the lighting and sound was on point, annd even though the place was packed we had an incredibly attentive server (bonus for serving a great rum punch and waffle fries!) I’m sure many of their bands draw younger crowds, but it’s nice to know that they have something fun for those of us who are a little more seasoned in life! To the owners and staff at Bogart’s, you are absolutely a class act!"

I would also like to give a shout out to the band STONE AND ECHO!!! (TRIBUTE TO A PERFECT CIRCLE) What an awesome lead in to 10,000 DAYS! We were able to follow Maynard James Keenan vocal progression as he developed his style as a lead singer in Perfect Circle. Bogart's needs to bring these two bands back for a second round! Like a fine wine these two band will only improve with age. Can't wait to see them again!!!"
