"I went to the MOA Torrid in Bloomington with my two granddaughters and 3 white sales people followed me around the store like I was going to steal something. The manager was urging the two ladies to follow me. Mind you I have a Torrid card, I am black, and 62 yrs old. This was my first encounter with being followed bcuz of my skin color although I have heard people having this experience. I refused to spend my money there which was a shame bcuz I found a $$75/$95 blue Jean jacket I wanted to purchase. Ladies that was not cool."
"Great selection of plus size women's clothing. Sizes 14 and up (or 00 and up; depending on your preference of sizing numbers). There's a great variety of tops, pants, dresses, panties and bras (only up to DDD; much to my larger sized chest's dismay; they were cute)! I went in certain I was going to spend at least $100; their awesome sales meant I spent half that amount on tanks and other clothing... Seriously, if you wear a size 14-16, like a lot of women do these days, GO TO TORRID! It's not all goth style like the old days...you choose the level of cleavage to show, ladies! You're in control! Get em!"
