"If you enjoy nature and birding this is a must see, there is no cost to look around. Be sure to check the hours they are open, it changes depending on season Just a great oasis to spend some quiet time, bring you sunscreen, camera, and a bottle of water I believe there are several miles of both paved and dirt trails surrounding quite a few lakes"
"We arrived at the Bird Viewing Preserve around 8:30 am. It was an overcast day which helped the time on the trails be comfortable. The Preserve is really peaceful with several different ponds and trails to walk on. There are information posts about the birds, the plants, water reclamation, and different insects and critters on the Preserve that are interesting to stop and read. There are benches along the trails to sit and take in the views and observe the wildlife. I do recommend wearing a hat, apply sunscreen, wear comfortable shoes, and bring water along. We spent almost 2 hours there and walked 3 miles. Beware! There are bees, wasps, ants, and other insects that can be a nuisance. The hours vary season to season so make sure to check the operating hours before you go."
