"Cozy restaurant with a vast menu. Lots to choose from. Servers are wonderful and give great suggestions. Some items were better than others. Pad Thai was delightful, noodles weren’t sticky or dry and flavor was packed. Red curry was typical and crying tiger beef was a bit of a disappointment. Though it was seasoned well, I wanted more spice or something, especially for the price of it. Pork belly stir fry was a delight. Definitely will come back and try other things. It was delicious overall."

"Was in Minneapolis for a few days for work. Ate a few small meals at some trendy places in the North Loop area, wasn't really impressed with anything. Pizza was terrible. Found this place and may have had the best roll I've ever had in my life (Mango roll, bluefin tuna), legit melted in my mouth. Beautiful presentation. Chicken pad Thai was fantastic. Again, some of the best I've ever had and I eat a lot of pad Thai. My friend got the drunken noodles, it was incredible as well. Definitely check them out."

"I enjoyed this restaurant all in all. I had one issue during my visit. I'll start with the highlights. The place is CLEAN. I mean clean. I walked in at 4:00pm and the place was spotless. After sitting down, I noticed staff wiping down tables that appeared to be spotless. I was served promptly, even before my plus one showed up. Their happy hour is incredible, (between 4 &6pm.) We ordered two different drinks that were $7 on happy hour. The Flamin Margarita and The Tropical Mojito, both were good, but the Mojito was on the sweet side. We also ordered the wings and veggie egg roles. The egg rolls were the issue. They offer either veggie or pork. I Don't EAT PORK! My egg rolls came out as pork. I noticed as soon as I bit into them. I brought this to my waitress's attention and she corrected it promptly. This is a big mistake, seeing people who don't eat pork can become very sick if it's consumed. I will take away a star for this only. Our wings were made well with lots of flavor. Our main dishes of basil, fried rice were great and the heat level of medium was perfect for my taste of liking spicy foods. I had three drinks off the happy hour menu, two appetizers, off the happy hour menu, and one entire off the regular menu and my bill was $65 $75 with a tip and I would return. Even with the egg roll issues."

"The food was good. We got the duck curry, crispy pork belly, and the jerky. All three of these were solid dishes. I'd come back here! The mango sticky rice looked really delicious (I was spying it jealously on a neighboring table). The service was excellent. The owner/manager stopped by to say thanks, gave us some chili oil, and mentioned that there is free parking for them in an adjacent lot--West Photo lot after 5pm weekdays. Not sure about weekends."

"You will have a hard time finding better Thai in the Cities. The pricing is good at $16+ for most entrees ($17 for my red curry with salmon). Everything was served up fresh with a nice presentation. Portions are generous. Happy Hour tempted us to try some of their special cocktails tonight. I recommend their Gin Gin Mule. The Flamin’ Rita was good/average. Our server was personable and helpful. The venue is very nice with heavy wood tables giving the space warmth. Table spacing was nice too - no sense of being cramped. Conversations around the table were easy. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely meal with friends. They had a couple of big screens up near the bar with sports playing. I’m not a fan of screens in restaurants, but these were not overly distracting. It’s located in a great part of the city near the Mississippi. Parking on the street is metered, but cheap ($1/hour). If you enjoy Thai food, you will love Flamin’ Thai."
