"Stopped for the first time today. They told us they were short staffed, but that did not stop the fast and friendly service! Food was great and came very fast. Will definitely stop again!"
"Our first trip to the Pancake House was really good. It is conveniently located right off of Highway 71 with plenty of parking. We were seated quickly and had drinks on the table within a few short minutes. I ordered the Chocolate Chip pancakes with sausage patties. My wife ordered the Strawberry Pancakes. We both really liked the pancakes as they were light and fluffy. We each got the three pancake plates. My chocolate chip cakes had plenty of chocolate chips, so much so, I didn't have to use much of their in-house blend of Maple syrup. The Strawberry Pancakes came with a side of extra strawberry preserves. Service was great and we plan to return and try other menu items."
"$30 for pancakes, eggs and bacon and a cup of coffee. I guess they don't want the locals to come in for breakfast. Thanks I won't be back. Super nice Reply from the owner. Yes, pancakes eggs, coffee and bacon was $30 If you don't want reviews about your food being so expensive bring the prices down. Also the service was definitely not up to par. We got one cup of coffee and then had to ask for more. More than halfway through breakfast. We were still waiting for coffee."
"Okoboji Pancake house... Very Friendly, Great Service I have gone for Lunch ( 2 ) Fridays in a row... Food has a home made perfection. Made with love better than mom could do. The favorite person we like to visit there is Joyce she make us feel like we are long lost friends... WE WILL BE BACK..."
"The people working are SO nice and friendly and made us smile a lot, but it took 20 minutes to get our drinks, then 40 minutes more for our food. The food was very tasty but arrived cold because of the wait im assuming. Building was very nice and updated but the prices are very very high. I ordered a $18 breakfast and never received my biscuit and gravy."
