"Wonderful addition to downtown Fargo. This is easily the best Italian food you can get in town. They have many house made pasta options as well as selections of imported pastas. The carbonara is a great house made option and the Broccoli and sausage is a delicious imported option. Come hungry and enjoy an appetizer followed by pasta, paired with a great wine list. "I was really excited about a nice Italian place opening up downtown. Good, authentic Italian is something Fargo has been missing since we lost Toscana a few years back. Because of this, I was hesitant to post this review however I think it's important to give open and honest feedback if any establishment is to do well. The meal started out with complimentary bread that was unfortunately burnt. An unfortunate start to the evening. I ordered a pear salad which tasted unbalanced and looked wilted. The vinegar was sour without any break with the pears being too mild/sparse to really compliment this. It left the mouth puckering. The star of the meal was the focaccia bruschetta. I quite enjoyed the presentation and overall flavor. Good amount of basil and not overly doused in balsamic and oil as I've seen. I can see why this is a favorite of the establishment. For the main course I had two of their house-made pastas. The Lemon Ricotta pasta and gnocchi in their San Marazano sauce. The lemon ricotta sauce not only lacked the brightness of the lemon but had clearly curdled and was rather thin. It was topped with sage but the flavor did not come through within the dish. Despite this the tagliolini was well made and cooked perfectly. The gnocchi were also well made however the sauce lacked any real flavor. It tasted of canned tomatoes. There is, of course, no shame in using San Marazano canned tomatoes, but, without intervention from the chef, they still taste like canned tomatoes. I had hoped for more from this dish. I ended the night with tiramisu and a cup of espresso. The presentation confused me with the addition of powdered sugar but it still tasted good. Unfortunately, the espresso was burned but it did not wholly mar the taste of the tiramisu. During my visit, the server was pleasant and the atmosphere was quite intimate and cozy. It reminded me of my time in Florence, people chatting and enjoying one another in accompaniment of good food made with joy. Unfortunately, it fell short of this. In the end, I left wanting and was generally disappointed. Still, I hope to come back as there was promise in the pasta and bruschetta. Perhaps the chef has some bad news that day. Perhaps not. Hopefully next time I'll have good news. All the best!"

"Our experience here was above and beyond. Our family of 5 (3 kids) came in prior to the FM Ballet performance. From the moment we walked in, we were treated amazing. The waiter didn't treat our kids like kids, he was amazing! Our food was fantastic, we plan on dining here regularly. I'd give 10 stars if I could."

"Very good from start to finish. Busy night so there was a short wait. Staff was great getting us seated as soon as possible and provided excellent service. Meal started with bread and olive muffuletta and a caprese salad. Both very good… light and fresh starters. We chose two dishes, the rigatoni carbonara and Grandmas rigatoni and meat sauce. Again, both pasta dishes were great. Loved that the pasta was cooked correctly. Had both deserts, because… why not! Tiramisu and cannoli. Both very good. Tiramisu was nice and light. The cannoli was sweet and rich. Great first impression, cannot wait to go back and try something new. Second visit was just as good. Gnocchi, carbonara, bruschetta all very good."
