"Second time at this park, but went to a different entrance this time. I love this place. Varying grades of elevation, the paths split everywhere, and the other patrons are always friendly. Great spot for casual walkers, joggers, runners, mountain bikers, and even horse riders. Beautiful views of the valley, adjacent mountains, and you can even see downtown Phoenix. Amazing place."

"One of my favorite places to hike. You get some of the best views of the valley from the top. This place is dog friendly. I recommend everyone come try to climb the top and see for themselves. ***If anyone likes my honest reviews then please like my post and follow my google account*** -Thanks"

"Great hiking areas. Ample parking. Paved roads. Many restrooms. Was not packed. Despite the beautiful weather. A lot of open. Clean picnic benches. Nice park. Great elevated views of the valley and mountains. We loved it"

"This is a great place to find hiking trails as well as a grat place to go horse riding. The trails go through classic desert scrub and saguaro trees. There is a spring handel watering trough so the water cannot be accently left running and there are several posts for securing your horse. Although I thought it was very funny that there was a sign on the watering trough specifily asking you not to wash your dog in the trough. Hmmm I sence a story here. There is a 3 hour time llimit for parking here since it is a very popular place. Couples come here for a romantic sunset moments. There are stone picnic benches in front that get very hot in the summer. But if you follow the road to the overflow parking around the curb you will find covered, shaded picnic ramadas. They are numbered up to 13. There are no grills. You are not to cook meals here so plan on packing a picnic lunch. The overflow road continues around the reserve but is not always open to the public. Road barriors prevent cars but gaps are allowed for foot and horse traffic. There were locked buildings with no signs indicate they were restrooms or other. The only closes restrooms is the Church of Jesus Christ building which is right on the corner and it's usually only open on Sundays. Other restrooms are a mile away at the shopping plazas."
