"Plastic clips cast iron gears, I would not recommend this product to anyone. I paid $1,400.00 and the plastic clip broke first then the teeth that operate the tilt for the umbrella broke. Now I have to pay for the part and labor to fix it. It’s not the wind that broke it it’s the product that didn’t work! Very disappointing in stay put umbrellas!! This shouldn’t have happened."

"Definitely our umbrella guy. The umbrellas were delivered when stated and they are beautiful. We have had a couple of pretty gusty days and they have really stayed put. "For years, I experienced a tangled flag, a flag that was torn up and even found that my flag and pole blown to the ground. I spoke to Jim Medlock about the possibility of the umbrella stand serving as a flagpole holder. I was told that it definitely would secure my flag. I now fly two flags! Because of the reliability of the flagpole stand, I ordered a Stay Put System for a recently purchased umbrella as it was only a matter of time before our strong California Santa Ana winds destroyed it.
