Vantage West Credit Union

"Updating my below review today 1.11.24 Unfortunately not once but twice workers at this credit union have sent us on a wild goose change to find a Drive-Thru. First of all, when you call in, the workers at local office do not have a quick resource sheet to answer "Where are nearest Drive- Thru", you have to wait 10+ minutes while they go check and ask, etc and yet they still give you wrong information. One worker told me Drive- Thru opened on Wilmot/Speedway, though we told her we've gone and its always closed, she said probably out to lunch or something. We go to Drive thru and a sign said Drive thru permanently closed. Called spoke to another worker, waited and he now assured us Drive Thru at Broadway/Cmo Seco, we get to said location and it's closed. Hard to call and speak to supervisor, if you call in workers will not let you speak with supervisor unless you provide your name and account Information and problem/issue. While driving around noticed most of Vantages Drive thrus are closed. This is not practical in this day and age where most people want and may need convenience! Vantage is a great credit union, just need more opened drive thru's and allow people/customers to speak with Supervisors without having to explain all to representatives first. - ----------------------------------------------------------------- Best Credit Union and financial institution we have had. We've been customers for 10+ years- rarely have had to go in, but the 2 times we did all was smooth, quick and great service. The online customer service is great. If there an issue, leave a correspondence and they normally get back same day or next; additionally, alot of banking can be done online, which is why we never have the need to go into branch. There telephone customer service is also 9 out of 10 fantastic. So far Vantage has been a great credit union and we definitely recommend to anyone ( note: we are very picky and normally look at reviews. Therefore we are careful to only give credit where it's due. We also update our reviews if neccessary)."

"I have never had a problem, everybody is very friendly and nice. The only thing I would suggest would be to have more tellers, especially on Friday, the lines are kinda long, and I have trouble standing. Other than that great service."

"Taisha opened 3 accounts for me as a new member. She was excellent! Gave me a bag of swag. Debit card worked right away. Checks were free. Web banking is very easy to use. Co-Op network lets me use other credit unions' ATMs, and even branches, with no fee. I feel that I chose wisely!"
