We were under a time crunch up to the last minute during a holiday weekend and Kelli Christopherson went the extra mile to work unpaid overtime to make sure the deal was successfully completed past 5pm. We truly appreciated her professionalism and detailed explanation of all our questions. She is an asset to this company and she represents what a quality employee does in times of need. "Came into close my account. Teller line could not do it and they asked me to wait to speak with someone. Unacceptable. Need better options for withdrawing money and closing account."

"Update: credit score still suffering. Perfect besides Hughes. The worst thing is they seemed to relish in being “unable” to do anything about some random Utility having this decades old account number and charging to it. Why can’t I close my account over the phone so this doesn’t happen again? Because Hughes was founded in the 50s and is determined to stay there. Update: the comment from Hughes below is a lie. They did not allow me to close my account over the phone or in person. I have a positive balance and they've provided no reason for this policy. They require a written document, which I provided them. THEY HAVE STILL NOT CLOSED MY ACCOUNT."

"I went in a few days ago to have multiple life planning/living will documents notarized. Hughes offers free notary service to their members. They accept walk-ins with 1 or 2 documents needing to be notarized, but if you have any more than that, they ask that you make an appointment; I had 5 documents. I chose the most important 2-3 out of the bunch to have ready in the stack, expecting to be told that that amount was all they'd agree to do because of my lack of appointment. Briana assisted me with this, but to my pleasant surprise she very kindly notarized all of them on the spot and saved me a lot of time and spared me from running around town even more that day! I was very grateful for her willingness to help me take care of this despite me showing up with more than double their maximum walk-in number of documents. That was awesome. Thanks again!"
