"I want to thank the owners and his sons deeply from the bottom of my heart. I sought out to sell a pocket watch my grandfather left behind for me in desperation so my family and I could pay for another night in our hotel room. Things have gotten so hard for me since my grandfathers passing, being thrown into adulthood overnight and having trouble adjusting. We’re staying here until we can sort things out and get back on our feet. I was offered a fair price for my item but unfortunately it wouldn’t be enough to pay for another night here. I explained my situation and asked for 100$ for the item and offered up more jewelry he left me. To my surprise, the owner of the shop felt for me and my family and related to us in a way I thought no one could. He offered to pay for a night at the hotel room..
