"I wanted to start BJJ because of self defense, and searched for the nearest gym to my university. I was insanely lucky when I found this place. I started attending Dark Matter for several months and getting to know the patrons as well as the coach, Korey. Everyone here is nice, respectful, and very funny. When it comes to the actual jiu jitsu, coach Korey's teaching can only be described to be tactical and extremely detailed. In my time I have been to multiple "prestigious BJJ gyms", and no instruction comes even close to Korey's. Every student attending Dark Matter can say the same.
