"Mr. Lambros makes many students feel uncomfortable. Also many students that say very offensive things and feel comfortable with saying them around many other kids."

"As a former student of Tempe Preparatory Academy, I find the school's curriculum quite exemplary. The school studies the great philosophers and classic literature in great depth. They analyze, discuss, and learn things that most schools don't even have the mental capacity to comprehend. Although most of the school's curriculum does not have much application in adult life, it makes the students more well-rounded people. However, although the curriculum may succeed expectations, the school is very culturally unbalanced, which consistently sabotages the learning experience. I found myself constantly being asked the question: "what race are you?" by both my teachers and peers. I would also hear Caucasian students using slurs towards students who apart of minorities. The school blatantly ignores all forms of discrimination by not properly punishing the ones who practice it. The school has anti-discriminatory rules, but they are seen and used as suggestions, rather than commands. The school's dress code is also ignorant by design, for it does not factor in LGBT students. It strictly prohibits anyone from breaking the gender roles that were so forcefully put on the LGBT students. The school punishes transgender students for simply being themselves. In my four years of attending Tempe Preparatory Academy, I have witnessed teachers and staff blatantly disrespect both students of color and of the LGBT community. The school consistently pretends that no minorities attend their school by treating them more like novelty items rather than actual students. I understand that Tempe Preparatory Academy is a traditional school, but they need to trade their out-dated values for more modern ones, for the staff's ignorance is both embarrassing and insulting. I have met a myriad of students who have left the school for these very reasons, including myself. It is truly a travesty and a calamity that a school with such high expectations has these issues. It is irrefutable that if Tempe Prep continues on its current path, it will continue to lose more students."

"I have nothing but positive things to say about TPA. I have worked in the the public school educational system for over two decades. As an educator I appreciate the dedicated teachers and staff, student diversity and opportunities TPA provides for all students. As a parent I appreciate the education my child has received and the TPA culture which promotes critical thinking, academic rigor and respect. I love the online grading system which allows parents to see grades as often as requested. Although the school is small in size, there are numerous opportunities for all students and families to become involved. (In response to a previous post, this was NOT a paid review)."

"TPA has been one of the best decisions we made for our children. The education they are getting is challenging yet inspiring. The teachers are focused and engaging. The headmaster sets the bar high and is an example in everyway to the students. GO KNIGHTS!!"

"Come for the education, stay for the uniforms. What TPA doesn't have in size, or men's basketball win record is spirit and papa johns every tuesday, or is it thursday? Enjoy classic events such as firedrills during pre-calculus or enjoy making latin jokes to all your friends. But wait Did i mention this place used to be a church? why yes that's why it feels so religious in there, except for the 90% catholic student body and teacher ratio. Know the names of all your teachers, first and last! Need a chair fixed, leave it to Mr ashton. You'll finally know who Aristotle is, " I think therefore I am". Options are limitless with spanish, french, and german just don't forget to turn in your slip or else you'll get latin again. Now why is that baby there?"
