"I went to night classes for CNA and my teacher Nurse Kim was awesome. Our class was fun even at stressful times. You can tell she really wanted us to succeed. Overall, she provided a great experience. For clinicals, I had Nurse Sonia and she was awesome! She treated us like her kids. She is probably the cutest, sweetest lady I’ve ever met. She’s been a nurse for a long time so hearing her stories and experiences was awesome. She taught us a lot."

"Coming from a non-medical background, I signed up with Medstar Academy’s CNA program after being laid off and unable to find a decent paying job for 3 months. Overall, I say the program is worth it. Now, depending on your circumstances, there are potential challenges. Those already working need to make sure you either sign up for a program schedule that works for you or get those days off. Otherwise, the more you study and practice, the more likely you’ll pass the whole program. Also, our instructors were Nurse Barry and Nurse Crook who influenced me in making certain decisions regarding my career path. Thank you both for teaching us rambunctious kids! I learned a lot from both of you. Very soon now, Lord willing, I’ll be starting my university’s nursing program until I get my BSN and will eventually go back later for my DNP. You both played a part in helping me make that decision. Lastly, it’s only been a week since graduation and I’ve actually got a job lined up already. Thank you Medstar Academy! "I had an amazing experience with the CNA Program. My instructors Janet/ Joan was awesome. They made sure you understood everything about what you are learning. I enjoy doing Labs and getting the hands on experience. Medstar was the best decision I made with picking a school for the CNA program."

"I can't say enough wonderful things about this school! I chose the CNA course (2 days a week class) and my experience has been awesome. Signing up is very easy, and Brenda will walk you through the entire process. Robin, Brenda, and Reanne are always available and so welcoming if you need help or are struggling with anything. They WANT to see you succeed, and you can feel that from them every time you walk in. My instructor (Nurse Amber ) is not only incredibly well qualified to run and teach the class, she works diligently to get you ready for state testing. Just like life, you get out of this class what you put in to it, so you must set time aside to practice and study, the same as any school or college; which is why the skills lab is open for actually coming in to practice what you're learning in class. I love this school!"

"Search no more! This is hands down the best school! I had the best experience at this school. Not only do the teachers and staff make you feel like family and welcomed from day one but the hands on experience is top notch. The classroom instruction was very detailed and the instructor always made time to help anyone who needed it. The skills lab was open for practice daily which is a huge help to brush up on skills before state boards. I would highly reccommend to anyone!!! Welcome to the family "
