"Stopped in while in Leeds. My daughter was in the CCC in San Diego. Turned it in to a job at Caltrans. Positive program. Good to keep up the history."

"FREE. Out of the way but worth it historic site. Located on a side street in a residential area. Can walk everywhere! Views of surrounding area at top where officers' quarters were. Detailed plaques (but one is missing for 1st bldg near parking lot so it needs to be replaced). There are private residences across the street and dogs will bark at you but just to continue to explore & snap your photos. --Sorry but can't seem to pull pics out of Google Cloud to show here. Pics are already deleted from phone:("

"Built in 1933 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this camp housed the people that built roads and bridges from Leeds to St. George, Utah."

"Lots of detail to the great depression and the history as to how the camp came to be. I didnt personally get to go into the buildings, but I heard wonderful stories from people who grew up near the CCC camp. It is very interesting and sad to hear about how bad the depression was."

"There's not much to "do" here, but if you are a fan of history, or if you have little kids who'd enjoy a little hike, it's definitely worth a visit!"
