"I wouldn’t go during this time of year. Couldn’t get close to the tunnels because the cows overtook them. Hopefully coming back in the summer the cows won’t be in them."

"Visited Nancy Holts sun tunnels and her husbands spiral jetty after studying about the pair for months. Very unique and a lot more to it than meets the eye!"

"We went on fall equinox hoping the tunnels might be aligned to it. They are not. The tunnels and the grounds around them were all to us. Google will give you an estimated time of arrival, but with the dirt roads I would suggest you add and least 30 minutes depending on your vehicle you are in. We were staying at the rainbow, maps said 1 hour and 22 minutes, but it ended up taking us closer to 2 hours with some of the areas that had more wash out than others and the majority of the time is on a dirt road. That all ssid it would definitely be worth it if you know what days the tunnels line up. We had fun and the moon was amazing in its phase over the tunnels. Worth the drive. Enjoy."

"Beautiful experience! Perfect weather for watching the sun set through the Sun Tunnels. The view was incredible and the people gathered there to watch were great. It was worth the 45 miles of dirt road to get there."

"Very cool art installation. The drive is long but the roads are decent. It's a cool novelty to see any time of year, but especially when they align with the summer and winter solstice as they were designed to. The crowds are very large for the summer solstice and surprisingly big for the winter solstice. Very cool to see the physical, manufactured connection of people to time and space. Pics from winter solstice 2020."
