"LOL even though I didn't even attend the school yet, I went to lots of field trips at THS. It was awesome and cool! And I see lots of awesome classes! So for now, I'll give this a 4 star until I attend and change my mind. ;)"
"Tucson High is a great school. There is a wide array of AP and Honors classes, and many of the NON-honors and AP classes are extremely rigorous as well. Beyond the required courses, there are also many electives, and a full group of truly excellent teachers. It is large, but there are many clubs that your student can get involved in (this helps to make it less daunting) and an active PTA that you, as a parent, can be involved in (this helps to show you the ropes of being part of such a large school). We get a number of transfers from other TUSD schools that are more of a pressure cooker, and a number of students who qualify for those other schools who choose THMS because of its great diversity of students and school community. Can't beat THMS!"
"In terms of academics, this public high school may not be the best, or even good in any ways. However, its extracurricular facilities will definitely compensate for the mentioned drawbacks, and if you are willing to get a 4.0 without any effort whatsoever, this is the perfect school for you! I recommend taking a more challenging school, since being lazy at such a crucial point in life will negatively affect the rest of your life."
