"Being a kid who went/goes there, the school was bad. They literally sometimes ran out of lunches, once me and my friend were given snacks and a muffin to replace the lunch that ran out. The lunch is not delicious nor tasty. Some of the teachers are very rude, and don’t know how to teach well. Most of the staff is rude as well, for a catholic school that’s all about being kind and loving to another.A lot of the kids misbehave or honestly just don’t care about their learning. We didn’t have any sports this year and last year we had no track because they didn’t find parents. They’re always switching “coaches” and even last year with a coach, we didn’t have track. Teachers are always leaving after the year, so i’m guessing they probably know the school isn’t as good as well. They always ask and get money, and never really use it. They ask for help/money to fix the playground, and have been for a couple years..yet they haven’t really changed anything. You might have a different experience, but when talking to my friends...we can all agree on the school not really being great."

"I transferred here as a 7th grader many years ago. As an adult now, I have had time to reflect and realize this school turned their back on a student that needed support. I transitioned from another school, from another state. My home support was minimal. Another student was involved in gang activities and she was supported. The only differences between us were the family’s wealth and she had attended the school longer. It is not a Christian act to turn your back on those in need. I sure hope the administration has changed since my presence."

"My children have attended Santa Cruz Catholic school since pre-K and I have nothing but great things to say about the teachers and staff. They have excellent teachers who greatly care about the students and their families. I could not picture my children attending any other school. Thank you for your hard work and dedication."

"Great school ! Small classroom environment where students get one on one attention from a professional staff of experienced Teachers. My child has been a part of the Santa Cruz family for five years and has received an excellent Catholic based education in a great environment."

"This school has some of the most unprofessional employees. Some of the teachers were rude and unprofessional in the hallways. There is no confidentiality with your child's learning; other parents are aware of other students private accommodations your child may have/need. The PE coach is constantly being unprofessional to the single mothers and at times even the married ones. They do not have the personnel to supervise children and are often asking parents to do so. However, even through out the school day, at times children are left alone. During the time my son attended this school his classroom was left unsupervised, luckily I was picking my son up early and stayed in the classroom until a teacher came. The teachers do not have the skill set required to teach, for 3 years of my son being enrolled there, I was constantly harassed to put my child on medication and they were diagnosing him. I took him to the doctor to test several times and all exams were negative and there was no need for him to be on medication. After 3 years of my son attending there, the principal stated that Santa Cruz lacks education services that children often need. They are also very discriminative towards families if you "do not fit in" or in other words gossip. It is far from the standard of a Catholic school. It is such a ridiculous school. My son now goes to a public school where he is doing amazing job. He has excelled and is happy to go to school every morning. Think twice about this school, for the well-being of your child's education."
