"My counselor is thorough, kind, and compassionate, but the office staff is discourteous, incompetent, and a barrier to adequate care. Their inability to manage payment/insurance plans or the backend tech required for Telehealth appointments is an added and unnecessary stressor exacerbated by their overt frustration and annoyance over THEIR own incompetence."

"Met with a therapist on 1/17/24, agreed to another appt on 1/25/24. Show up for appt and front desk person informs us the appt had been cancelled, and that they called us about cancellation, due to therapist not being covered under our insurance. The problem is they were given insurance info several days before our first visit, and obviously failed to check coverage for 1st therapist. They lied about calling us. My husband nor I received any phone calls or texts about an issue with insurance or a cancellation. We searched our phones for calls and texts. We searched our emails. Nada, nothing from these incompetents!! They offered to set up another appt with a new therapist, in Feb. Honestly, I don't appreciate their lack of accountability, and failure to ensure we were seeing a therapist covered with our insurance at the very first visit!! They obviously don't care about the client experience or customer service, and have no problem lying to your face rather than holding themselves accountable for their incompetence in verifying insurance and phone calls, texts, or emails. They totally wasted our time not once, but twice!! First, by failing to ensure the therapist was covered at the first visit, and then again when we showed up for our second appointment THEY cancelled without proper notification. Another hour of wasted time driving to and from their office. The disappointment for us is that we liked the therapist we saw on the first visit, and had agreed to move forward with her. Desert View would appear to be a revolving door for incompetent front desk personnel, contracted therapists, and unsuspecting clients who deserve so much better than what is being perpetrated by the front line personnel."
