"If you’re looking for healing, this is NOT the place for you. Touchstone Therapy is not concerned about helping you heal, they are concerned about making a profit off of families that are already taxed with the difficulties of special needs children and the spiraling impact of mental illness. They take advantage of the mentally ill and the struggles they have. Despite our many months of therapy for our children, there has been no progress. Traditional therapy does not work. Don’t believe all the attachment lingo they use about 1st, 2nd and 3rd stage attachment and their process of connecting. It’s all misleading and is never actually accomplished in their therapy. You need to have heart centered people serving in order to help others heal. Unfortunately the therapists working with Touchstone Therapy are under thumb of owners who seek to profiteer off the mentally ill. Hunter has been incredibly unprofessional and has harassed us constantly with emails, text messages and phone calls. It’s become a nightmare dealing with these people. After 20 years of trying to utilize traditional therapy we have come to the conclusion for ourselves that it’s all based on misleading information and does no real good for those who need the help. We were committed to it every week for all those years. I now feel guilty for putting my kids through it: We have decided turned to God and more natural means, along with trusting that loving our children and setting a good example in our relationship as a couple, is having much more of an impact than medication and therapy. Don’t turn your precious children over to this unfortunately corrupt and misleading place of therapy."
