"We had the opportunity to attend a weekend wilderness retreat with Phil and our daughter. Phil was AMAZING at creating an environment where we were able to better connect with our daughter in a relaxed and comfortable way. HIGHLY recommend Phil to anyone looking for help in improving family communication and relationships!"

"I had nothing but good experiences with Hilltop Counseling. Phillip had a variety of options for me when it came to the setting and style of the counseling which I found to be very beneficial. He also offered counseling via zoom during times when we couldn’t meet in person which was great. He responds quickly if you reach out to him."

"Phil was our 17 year old son’s therapist for 8 months while he was on program. He was also our family therapist as well during this difficult time as we worked with our son to help him overcome his challenges. I respect and personally really like Phil. He has a gentle spirit, a caring heart and a good sense of humor. He doesn’t use fear or intimidation to control kids but rather compassion and respect of each individual. He works hard to find something to connect with each boy and help them through their struggles and challenges. What draws kids to Phil and what they like about him is his dedication and knowledge of horses and his use of equestrian therapy. Phil tries to inspire and build up a child’s sense of self. Being a father of four young kids he has the foundation of knowing the challenges, frustrations and blessings of parenthood which gives him a lot of credibility. Phil’s life experiences I feel have helped make him a good therapist and his passion to help kids is a welcome quality when you’re looking for a therapist to help your child and your family through a difficult time."
