"A beautiful little park... quite the hidden gem. Free parking, free to visit, no tickets to purchase. This is a nice walk through where you can check out different cacti & local plants with informative signs about each plant. My husband and I visited at sunset which made for some beautiful photos. We loved it and glad we found it. It's not your typical huge botanical garden that you purchase tickets to like the Desert Botanical Garden (which is also highly recommended and an amazing garden) but this little park garden was perfect for a nice walk about and especially if you love cacti. It seems like it might be open all hours (never saw a sign) but it is a park so probably sunrise to sunset."

"Located at Park of the Canals, garden is quant but has a nice display of a variety of desert plants. Paths, for running, walking, hiking, are located just outside the park. Clean picnic and playground area."

"Nice place to visit to get to know the desert xeriscape. For those looking to hone their navigational skills, there is a compass guide course you can setup with a party to find specific places based on coordinates. Also, it wouldn't be complete with a playground for the kiddos"
