However, I found this to be true in every walmart pharmacy. Every employee is knowledgeable and friendly. The 83rd and union location is no different they are all awesome. "Impressive! This is a great pharmacy with knowledgeable & friendly staff. You might want to especially talk to pharmacist Jay. WOW! He is very impressive with his knowledge, care and compassion. I went to several pharmacies to get a prescription filled and found out it was just too expensive without insurance... so I asked the other pharmacists what would be a good substitute. Well, the pharmacist at Sam's Club started googling an answer for us. Unbelievable! All those years in school and all that time working (in your very well paying job no less), yet you don't know a substitute for a simple antibiotic. I left and went to Walmart in Lake Pleasant. Immediately, Jay took great care of me. He knew instantly (without having to look it up) what substitutes there were and if they would or would not work for the infection. He is a rare find. He did his best to assist us and really cared about the expense too. I recommend this place 100%. I have a Physical Therapy degree and have been educated in Pharmaceuticals as well - even though that is not my main focal point. And I have to say that Jay and the Lake Pleasant Walmart Pharmacy Staff know their stuff. Give them a try. Plus, their prices are on the cheaper side. Thank you Jay. You are very gifted and blessed and in the right profession. We need more people like you in the medical fields."
