"I have been a resident of The Gallery on Fifth for a few weeks now, and my experience has already been excellent and I hope to continue to make this my home for years to come. It was always a dream of mine to live in the heart of downtown Tucson, and I did extensive research into the various options before deciding on this establishment. From my initial tour, both Jacky and Mordechai were kind and knowledgeable and helped ensure the onboarding and move-in were smooth. The building itself is beautiful, and clearly intentionally designed to be a modern addition with respectful acknowledgement of the heritage of downtown Tucson. The common areas are bright and welcoming and cleaned regularly. Each floor has a design theme with each unit's door painted with its own unique visual. The location cannot be beat. I am thrilled to be a short walk away from my favorite coffee shops, restaurants, and musical venues. Can the surrounding atmosphere be a bit loud at times? Sure. But that's downtown living. Invest in a small white-noise machine for sleeping and you'll be fine. I love my new home, and I don't see that changing anytime soon!"

"Don't kid yourself, it's loud on weekends, surrounded by homeless people because of how close it is to Armory park. The rooms are nice but sleeping at night makes you feel like you're in a prison cell because they are solid grey concrete. The front desk staff (if you can call them staff) don't do anything that makes you feel welcomed. My wife my son and I had to stay here while our house was being redone and got zero help. From trying to get information on parking to even just figuring out when we could move in. Two times I've been into the leasing office, the first time was only open because random people (who he said was a former employee) and five other guys were pregaming for a UofA Game. He had at least three drinks when we talked to him. But at least he was helpful, too bad he was not an employee or I would have some praise for the staff. The second time the fire alarm went off so I rushed to get my sixth month old son and myself to safely while other tenants just stood around in the halls only to see the staff member sitting at his desk, look at me, wave me off to say "I'm busy" and go back to his phone call. All the while the alarms were going off. When he finally ended his call he looked at me and asked "how can I help you?" I said "the alarms are going off in the building." And with all the empathy of a stoner replied "oh yeah there testing the alarms, you should have gotten an email." Clearly I didn't. So I told him so, "no I didn't get one" (otherwise I wouldn't have rushed out of the building) he said "oh well, whoever set you up here should have sent you one, they really dropped the ball." How about"oh sorry what's your email so this doesn't happen again? Or maybe something to the effect of that? Not just pass blame? And finally the biggest and most obnoxious thing is the parking. One paid space with the tag assigned is near $180 extra. No big deal, except only a handful of cars actually abide by this rule, many spaces are just filled with no tag and nobody does anything, yet when my wife and I (who have two cars) were checking in, no one was at the leasing office to tell us we only got one spot. Then the next day we found out we only had One spot and that we were taking a spot so we asked about an additional one was told no because there is a wait list. Yet you need a key fob to enter the locked chain wall just to park and as long as you have a key fob for the room you can enter and just take a spot. There are multiple cars parked without tags in the locked lot. And the entire surrounding area is all paid meters that are always full due to the location and the alternative is to get a monthly pass for a garage that is more than the price for a spot in the parking lot. Or to use a public parking area a block away. (Update: also handicapped parking is also almost ALWAYS taken up by non handicap with no tags or plates, even the loading area meant for handicap access has a car parked in it daily.) But I don't want to be all negative, if you really and I mean really want to live downtown in Tucson with a wonderful view of the TEP building and pay twice as much as OUR CURRENT MORTGAGE for our home then this place isn't bad, if you are a single, no kids, one car of no car, and love walking everywhere kinda person then check it out. But if you're not in college, then you would not be reading this review. I'm an old man who didn't have any other options. I didn't pick this place, it was chosen by my insurance company. If you made it this far then you have already made up your mind about staying here or you work here. Either way, listen carefully. My opinion doesn't matter, it's only temporary and I'm not your target tenant. But your staff needs to be a little bit more aware of when a father comes to your staff with a young baby in his arms looking at them for answers and the best response he gets is "someone else dropped the ball.""

"Great location right in the heart of downtown Tucson. Management (Mordechai and his team) is friendly, professional and answers all your concerns promptly. Common areas are always clean and decorated for holidays. Never had an issue while living here for 2 years. 5 stars and highly recommend to check out this place as your new home."

"The guys working the concierge/leasing office are great! The complex is well built and has nice views from balconies and the location is good. Property sits across from an events venue which has loud events 4 nights a week, that can be heard inside your apartment, which gets annoying with so much frequency."

"I see reviews about dishonest staff and that is the complete opposite from what I have experienced. The staff here have been beyond amazing to work with, each and every one of them. Mordechai was so helpful with the move in process and with everything else that has come up since moving in. The building is great and the units themselves are very nice and have great appliances. I would highly recommend looking at the gallery for your future home."
