Maintenance issues are now completed in a timely and professional manner. The online portal is much more efficient for rent payments and work orders for repairs. "The property management and owners of the property are slumlords. The grandson broke and entered into one of the properties. I had to call 911 and get the police as he was banging on fences screaming let me in. I was terrified. I called the property manager Thomas and he had the audacity to ask me about my pets and threaten to kick me out and charge me more money when someone was actively screaming and breaking into homes. They did charge me double on my pet from then on. I would call that retaliation for calling the police on the grandson. They have no regard for human life or safety. That grandson would also fill my trash cans up with his trash. But what lovely trash would be inside? Drugs. Needles. Notes to drug dealers. I was actually afraid to go into my rental as the son would stand in my driveway threatening me. And that never stopped as the mom lives down the street on edison. She would come by too stand by my car and give me dirty looks for calling 911 on her son. They are beyond disrespectful or unprofessional. Landlord special the whole way, they gave us the house in terrible condition. They never came out to do repairs that were promised when we moved in then Merritt charged us 2 grand for their previously documented damages. When I filled out the move in letter they wrote all over it saying I was lying about the condition of the home just so they could do this. It's a joke. I thought the bad reviews were just unhappy people but for 2 years of living there never giving them trouble with paying and paying almost 1300 a month they really wanna get their every penny out of every tenant. Even when I went to drop off my keys at their "office" it's someone's house! The mailbox was locked because it's illegal to drop stuff off in mailboxes the postal service wants you to mail it. That was the cherry on top of unprofessional. I'm trying to move out and you have no accessible way to drop off my keys."

"Started great, and went great for awhile, but ultimately disappointing. These folks were initially helpful and responsive to issues, but refuse to put in writing certain reasons why they will kick tenants out. In our case, we got bed bugs from an unknown source (they can come from restaurants, movie theaters, hotels, planes, schools — anywhere), and paid out of our own pockets to have them exterminated as laid out in the lease — and then they refused to renew our lease explicitly because of bed bugs, right before the holiday season. With this, it's easy to imagine other unwritten policies that they refuse to tell prospective tenants. I'm assuming they just want an excuse to charge higher rent. Hopefully they will be more honest in the future."
