"I lived in Tucson for a year for a my residency and am so happy I found Altamira. Mary is welcoming, knowledgeable, and very receptive. She and Steve always respond to requests very quickly and go out of their way to make experiences positive. The gym is small but had enough equipment for me to work out there on a daily basis. The community is quiet and everyone I met in the neighborhood was kind. My favorite part was the view from my patio!"

"I've lived in this complex for 2 years and loved it! It's been more like a little condo community to me. Friendly and very quiet neighbors. Beautiful grounds, wildlife and hummingbirds galore! This complex sits up on a hill away from the street, also is close to St Phillips Plaza, Trader Joe's, Sprouts, for close shopping/dinner. The staff is wonderful, special shout out to Mary in the office! Steve who takes care of the maintenance on property is great too, very timely in any service requests. The only possible down side would be the studio units close to the car wash side can be a little noisy at times (didn't bother me however) The laundry facilities are kept very clean, they've also updated the payment with an app on your phone which is very convenient. Didn't use the pool too often but its got a gorgeous view on the hill! I highly recommend this place!"

"I have lived at Altamira Apartments for about 3 years, and this really is a great place to live. NFI is lucky to have the team they do at Altamira. Mary, the Property Manager, is incredibly kind, warm, and cares about the residents’ quality of living. All the resident dogs LOVE her, which dog-lovers know says a lot about her character. The maintenance team is fantastic as well, with a special shout-out to Steve, who is always extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds and buildings are well-maintained, and the complex is very quiet. I have always felt very safe at Altamira as well since it sits up on a hill away from the main street, so typically it is just residents on the property. I live in a 1b1b (624 sq ft) apartment. When I moved in, all of the appliances were brand new, new carpet had been put in, and the balcony flooring had been completely updated. The entire exterior of every building was just re-painted as well. The laundry rooms have always been clean, and machines have always been available when I’ve needed them. Altamira is definitely worth a visit if you are apartment hunting!"

"My husband and I moved to Tucson from Ohio, seven months ago. We rented our apartment over the phone without seeing it. We had never set foot in Tucson. Part of the reason we chose Tucson was the care of the Altamira staff over the phone! When we walked into our apartment for the first time, we felt like we had just won the lottery! Our front balcony faces the beautiful Catalina's and the Tucson mountains are our view from the back balcony. I have included a photo from our back balcony. Stunning sunsets, wildlife, city lights, multiple fireworks displays on the 4th of July, swimming in a gorgeous pool, landscaped grounds, safe community with great neighbors who watch our for one another, easy access to long walks through the foothills, the very best farmer's market right across the street, beautiful club house and workout room, centrally located to just about everything... This apartment community is so mush more than I imagined when I made that call from Ohio! I can't say enough about the staff! They go above and beyond every single day. So many thanks! This is my home."
