"I am surprised that this place has only got a 2.9. I have lived here for a year and a half. The maintenance people have always been very helpful and often finished the work orders much quicker than I had expected. The previous property managers (Kim and Cari) and the current one (Melissa) have all been very professional and efficient. So far, they have also been very reasonable with security deposit unlike the previous place I stayed at. The front desk people are generally friendly and responsive. Indeed the rooms are old as some have mentioned, yet they are in decent shape as far as I am concerned."

"im convinced that this is literally the worst apartment complex in tucson. i've lived here for 3 years only because it's feet away from my graduate pharmacy school. it is really overpriced considering the limited amenities and the fact that the apartments are so old. My car has been broken into here. they don’t have cameras or security as a preventative/safety measure. lots of homeless people that are free to walk through gates (and do) to your apartment because they’re always open. obviously tons of noise too because it’s on speedway/near banner. the apartment manager (Cari) is rude, ethically corrupt, and egotistical. She will seemingly do anything in her power to make living in this apartment as uncomfortable as possible. after months of bringing a specific request to her attention both in-person and over the phone SEVERAL TIMES, she attempted to convince me that it never happened because it hadn't been discussed over email. she previously opened my closed door and walked into my apartment unannounced while one of the maintenance men was performing an annual inspection and looked shocked to see me in my own apartment. She also has referred to me as "the girl from (unit name)" when discussing me to other staff, while I could hear her. For context, I am a 24 year old woman (not a 24 year old girl). Thankfully, there is one staff member (Tyler) that has helped to make living here easier. He went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed which I am truly grateful for. overall though, there really are not many perks to living here unless you don’t have a parking pass and need to be able to walk to campus. but even then, it’s definitely worth finding another place to stay"

"I have been living at Palm Shadows Apts for several years and I am so impressed with how well the property is being run by the manager, Cari. She always has a smile and a good word for her residents. I also want to say how outstanding the new maintenance man, Francisco, is. He did some work in my apartment and he was professional, polite, and knowledgeable. The work was done quickly and successfully. The complex has definitely become a great place to live, convenient to the University, shopping, the hospital, and public transportation."

"It is a great price and right next to medical campus. Utilities are also included in rent except electric and it has two swimming pools. Office staff are friendly and helpful. Yes there are baby cockroaches from time to time, and as it is near the hospital you will hear ambulance sirens throughout the night. You get what you pay for."

"I rented here while I attended the university and had a very good experience. The studio apartment was spacious and the rented furniture was well worth the price. The staff were always friendly and quick to address any issues. The grounds were also well maintained along with the community areas such as the courtyards and pools. Overall, the apartments are a good value for students with their leasing options, price, and quality service."
