"I would not move in to these apartment. Infested with roaches. I lived here for over 2 years and before management was amazing but now the new manager is hardly in the office. Its hard to find her when we need something fix. Ive had 3 floods in my apartment within the last 2 months. I have videos of the flood in my apartment. My kids had to be around mold, dirty toilet water for a week. The manager didnt care about fixing the situation"

I have to say thank you to the staff for always being so helpful and I have to say the new manager Katrina you are truly amazing. Anytime I had questions or concerns always were very helpful. "I would not recommend this complex to anyone, especially if they have kids. This complex has gone downhill lately. The tenants are loud, their kids are loud. They cuss and yell at their kids, the kids cuss at others including other residents and they leave their bikes and scooters laying around wherever they please, whether it be on the sidewalk, parking lot or parking space. The kids have no respect for other peoples property. They will take or play with your child's toys that you have outside of your door. There's been an increase in drug activity and violence. There's been 2 shootings within a month and a half. This complex has literally turned into the ghetto, and as a parent I no longer feel safe and I'm constantly on high alert. I will not let my children play outside because of the possibility that their may be a retaliation shooting. Cops are here a few times a month. People jump the walls to surrounding apartment complexes, there's very poor lighting throughout the complex. There's a few residents who have let their dogs in the pool area, and did not clean up their dogs poop. On that note, the residents hardly ever clean up after their dogs, and it's so frustrating when it's left in front of your apartment! Like seriously, there's several stations with poop bags and disposal bins throughout the complex and hardly anyone cleans up after their dog. There's pit bulls who should not be allowed in the complex because they show aggression towards people and other dogs, and their owners don't even trust their dog around other people and dogs, but claim that it's a service or therapy dog. I got yelled at by this guy just because I was walking my dog In front of my apartment and he had to take his dog in the opposite direction. The grounds are dirty, and there's been problems with bed bugs. One tenant threw out his mattress with bed bugs and another tenant brought it into their apartment. Not sure if the laundry room is decent because I've never used it. If I could give this complex zero stars I would! Only positive things are the utilities included, w/d in some of the units and the manager."

"I love this place so much. It is the best apartment complex ever. The manager is amazing, all the staff is amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. It is very kid and people friendly, pet friendly and its also all utilities included so that I amazing to. You can't find a lot of apartments like that. Me and my family have been here for a 1 year now and we are still here. We are gonna be here for a while. We love this place so much. The manager works with u and if u need anything they are there to help. I give it all 5 stars. That's how amazing and awesome this place is. Anyone looking for a place I would come here. This place is amazing."

"Since they have gotten a new manager, this place has been the absolute best raise my children and be a part of a community. I couldn't be happier. She is on top of things and shows genuine concern for all of her tenants and treats everyone with the utmost respect that they deserve. I couldn't ask for a better woman (or man) to run this place. Since my last review I give this place 5-stars and my highest recommendation for any family to choose Dakota Canyon. The maintenance man gets to things promptly and he is very polite and listens to your concerns. He also takes the time to listen and then to explain what the problem is, and how he plans to move forward to repair the issue. They have the best staff yet, and the tenants are awesome too. Kids can just be kids and run and play. This is the type of community a family can thrive in. I really recommend anyone come give Dakota Canyon a chance and make it your home.
