"If I could give this apartment complex 0 stars I would. Upon signing the lease, management informed us that we would be getting a newly remodeled unit, where the carpet was removed and new wood floors were installed (as advertised as well on their website). We were not from Arizona, so we were not able to see the unit prior to moving out of state, therefore we trusted management based on what they told us. Come moving day, the carpet was still there with no plans of remodeling, and we were told that this was our unit. On the day of moving into the unit, the cleaning crew was still occupying the space, delaying our ability to move in our belongings. Upon inspection of the unit, the fridge shelves were broken and had to wait two weeks to get an OLDER model fridge. We filled out the inspection form with all the worn down issues in the apartment requiring fixing, nothing was addressed. The water was shut off almost weekly, random days and times. They inspected your apartment twice a month whenever they decided. Granted, that may be their policy, however for somebody who works from home it is beyond inconvenient. USPS no longer was delivering packages door to door, and instead had to drop off the packages in the office. This meant we can only pick them up during office hours which was not feasible as we both worked full time, 6 days a week. This resulted in the packages being sent back to the post office requiring us to pick them up. They will not make clear certain requirements upon moving out. Most apartment complexes require a 30-day notice prior to move out date. We had given them our move-out date a year in advance, however reminded them 45 days prior to move out date. This resulted in a one-month's rent owed due to it not being 60 days prior. When we confronted the front office about this issue after they had sent us a letter giving us a month to pay the remaining fee, they stated that our remaining fee was $0. We later received a letter from collections reporting the amount owed. The two women that work in the front office do not communicate with each other regarding tenant issues. The office is not always open during the stated hours of business. Many times we have tried to go to the office in the middle of the working day, and the door was locked with no notice. After knocking, one of the women will come and unlock the door. There is insurmountable inconsistency with this property and the two women that work in the office are unreliable and not helpful when needed. Professionalism also seems to be lacking when communicating. It is unsettling to live in an apartment complex where you do not feel protected as a tenant. We have had unsafe situations with surrounding neighbors and nothing was done about it. It is mind boggling to see that this complex is voted #1 in Yuma, seeing now that there are MUCH better communities since we have moved out. Even with our initial experience at the beginning of moving into this apartment we recommended this complex to many friends and coworkers who moved to the area, but since the seemingly never-ending negative experiences we have rescinded our recommendations. You can find much better and NICER apartment complexes for much more affordable rates in the area while feeling safe and taken care of by management."

"I have lived here over 5 years and must say I enjoy the stay. The maintenance staff is very prompt when dealing with repairs but I must say I dont need them often! I enjoy the area I live in.. quite and nice neighbors. The office staff are very professional and just overall nice to deal with. I recently broke my hip and Stephanie told me to call her if I had any packages to pick up and she would bring them to my apartment or one of the maintenance staff would. Fantastic service from this crew in general and I really enjoy being so close to all the shopping areas. All in all a nice place to stay whether your by yourself or have a family."

"This is my fourth year living at River Park it's fantastic never really needed the maintenance staff but when I do they're there and they take care of it as far as the staff Claudette and Patty are totally awesome. The cleanest nicest apartment I've ever lived in, not once have I seen any insects or bugs which is amazing living in Arizona. It's very peaceful relaxing and quiet some of the politis neighbors I've ever been around."

"My wife and 2 kids and I have been here for 2 months and so far we have had a good experience. Alex in the office was very helpful with our moving in process; back then there was something wrong with the phones so I couldn’t always call, but if you walk in to the office someone will help. The maintenance team is great, led by Nathan who is awesome and very responsive and friendly. They have helped fix a few minor issues we have had in the apartment, and they seem to always be around. There is a cleaning crew that is nice as well, Odette and her sister are great people. I didn’t give it five stars because I think it is priced too high for what you get. But it is a nice apartment and the pool is great."

"I am a current resident here at River Park Apartments. The maintenance here is great! Nathan one of the maintenance guys here is always on top of everything and getting things done. From problems around the complex to ones you may have in your apartment. However, Lupe the other maintenance guy is also very helpful as well. Both are always friendly, interactive, and positive. In addition, both women in the front office (Yvonne and Alex) are always welcoming and kind. They answer any questions you may have and are there to assist. They work with you to ensure you enjoy your stay here."
