"Waited months for appointment. Made sure to make it early in morning as possible and still had to wait 30 minutes and then informed I was put on wrong doctors schedule. I was asked to wait another 1. 5 hours.This is assembly line service. Gone are days of personal care. Don't bother with BDP, they aren't professional"

"The Sun City location is certainly better than the Surprise, Bell Road location. The staff at Sun City are more professional for sure. I would just advise better scheduling of people because it's a bit crowded (in both locations), and people like me who come on time with no insurance issues should not be penalized waiting as long to be done with our appointment. It stands to reason that if less people were scheduled for a doctor on a given day, the flow of patients would be much better."

"There's a sign that says "your arrival time is not your appointment time," which is accurate. My arrival time was 7:15am and my departure time was 9am. It was an intake appointment, which can take more time. The facility doesn't work with contact lenses, which was disappointing because I'm settled in and finally looking for a forever optical home, and I like this place. The assistants were very pleasant, which helped me feel comfortable. And the icing on the cake was this amazing doctor - they should teach his technique for "1 or 2" in optometry school. The doctor was efficient, extremely intelligent, thorough, discerning, and personable. He was a true professional doctor that is rare to experience in Arizona and definitely worth the wait. Thanks for a great eye glass appointment. Have a wonderful holiday season."

"Kiosks check in. Screens are full of fingerprints. Who knows how often they get sanitized. Staff sneezing into their bare hands and continuing with their work without washing hands. You would think that people would have learned from being quarantined! Gross….Waited almost an hour past our scheduled appointment time before we got called back to see the doctor. Had to cancel my other commitments for the day because of it. Super crowded place every room we were put into. Front office staff was not very attentive at all or cared about patient care. Good luck expecting to even get greeted. This location has absolutely no respect for people’s time at all. Having worked in patient care for over 26 years, very rarely did we ever run behind. According to the front desk staff, she said this was very common. No apology was given. If we ever did, we made sure our patients were updated immediately and we were very apologetic. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Running behind schedule almost an hour should not be standard of care. It’s not okay. I bet if I showed up an hour late, I would get rescheduled immediately."

"Had appointment on 10/20/23, sat in the waiting room for over an hour... Received an email that my appointment had been rescheduled for a different day. Mind you no one from the staff came to tell let alone told me they were rescheduling my appointment. Apparently they were low on the injections I receive. Now you must've known you were low on said meds... You all need to have better communication so your patients aren't wasting time sitting there thinking they still had an appointment."
