"Worst medical facility, called for a pediatric appointment. They called 1 hour before the appointment asking to see if we could come in early. Said no, we don’t live on post. Get to appointment 2 mins late, TWO MINS. And receptionist said we couldn’t be seen. Yet, we are forced to come to this place."

"This has got to be the worst medical group I’ve ever experienced so much so that I’ve often wondered if they are even real doctors."

"Capt Andreasen and this incredible team of care professionals are working to the bone day in and out under tremendous pressure yet they find a way to rise above it all to focus on treating me as a person. Not just a person who needs help but seeking my best good as if they were giving their best for themselves. I couldn’t imagine how difficult this is for them and their families. "Came to see my PCM about medical paperwork and chest pains. The woman that took my vitals explained that she most likely will return to run an EKG after the doc speaks to me. Obviously, the chest pains were the priority over the paperwork but he chose to address the paperwork first (which took 2-3 minutes). After I reminded him of the bigger issue, he stated that the policy is to only address 1 issue per appointment & literally told me as long as I don’t feel like I’m dying then I need to make another appointment for the chest pains but if I feel like I’m dying then I should go to the ER. Just know that when you get seen here, the concern will be in favor of the policy rather than what ails you… 56 MDG - Policy Over People."

"Wrote an Exception To Policy for our newborn daughter to see the same provider as my son due to his disability and trying to go two different directions for appointments for her and him. Denied by the commander on no premise. We live on the boarder of the mileage zone and takes us around 45 minutes just to get to Luke. Fast forward to today. Call to schedule her 4 mo appointment and NO availability. So you’re telling me that they won’t authorize off-base pediatricians but think it is okay to delay care in infants? I had to book an appointment near her 5 1/2 mo mark and they do immunizations in a whole separate area that requires another appointment. So, not only do I have a 1:40p immunizations appointment for her, but now I have to wait until 2:20p to even see the provider. 45 minutes to base. 40 minutes between appointments. 45 minutes home. The MHS needs a complete revamp at Luke. It’s a disgrace. Plus the commander can’t figure out that the provider shortage is hurting families, must not be very bright!"
