"Our initial visit left me wondering what type of p.a. they hired providing a prescription for a virus. However with a follow up with the pediatrician I was left impressed by their staff and care for my daughter. Coming from a medical background I'm hard to impress and they have done so. Update: this place has gone down hill quickly since our dr left. We stayed on for about a year but left after all."

"Eileen at the counter was the only reason I didn't end up causing a scene she worked with me seeing the frustrating situation I was in. With two sick babies and a month ahead appointment scheduled. I couldn't get in because my new baby didn't get us sent the new patient paperwork. When there was a whole month prior I could of filled it out instead I had to sit in the appointment watch other people grab the available appts. When I finally quickly finished the paperwork they sent me to vail. The lady I had scheduled with had not given me any information prior and could of had me prepared instead I had to miss my appointment, and get sent to another location...."

"Dr. Rentfrow or however you spell her name is highly unprofessional. Chiming in and teaching my daughter not to trust my parenting all because I cut her hair against her wishes due to her tightly wound curls constantly tangling and causing her to cry every morning. Why would any parent want to see their child suffer every morning? The front office almost never answers their phone so you’re forced to leave messages and hope they get back to you promptly (which they don’t) And now that I’m seeing a new doctors office and need my childrens immunization records they have a 3-5 day process to get your own records which is ridiculous considering it’s taken over a week to get to finally talk to someone about getting them. Over all this entire healthy center is unprofessional and the vail area needs a family practice we can trust. This is just not it."

"I called the after hours line because my 1yr old son had a 102 fever for 3 days that just wouldn’t break. Yes there was about an hour before the normal clinic we go to opened but I just really needed help on lowering my sons rising temperature. After having to call the after hours number twice I finally got a call back. Let me start with where the heck did you get your bedside manner? I was asked “you know you’re calling after hours phone right? You’d have to know you’re calling after hours line right? How could you not know you’re calling the after hours line?” I answered “yes obviously I do know this I just need help getting my son comfortable” she then told me “you don’t call the after hours number for a fever! And you don’t need to take him to urgent care either. Call the clinic when we open at 7:45. Plus I can’t diagnose a fever over the phone I’d have to see the patient.” I then thanked her for her “own special way of help” and hung up on her. So I’ve been trying to figure out all day what the heck the after hours line is for? And when did I mention ever going to urgent care? After being able to get ahold of the clinic we go to normally (and yes I did call the usual clinic number that gave the after hours number) I was able to get the name of the wonder on call “doctor” that I got all the wonderful criticism from. Kristen Rentfrow learn better bedside manner and your office hours, if not maybe you shouldn’t be working around children. Believe it or not but first times mothers do fear for their children especially after 3days of a 102 fever, I’m sure I’m not the first panic mother calling the after hours line. Plus I never asked you to diagnose my son over the phone, I’m not an idiot as you made me feel. All I asked for was help to see what I can do to break his fever, I’m sorry for such a complex request. With all that said we are so glad you’re not our PCP and I hope I never have to be in contact with you ever again."

"This is a really fantastic clinic with a super friendly staff that goes above and beyond anything you would normally imagine! Our family has used this clinic for the last 5+ years and they have been really great. It’s always easy to schedule an appointment, they run on time, and everyone there is so nice. Nancy has been so great and I don’t know of any other physician that stays late on a Friday night to send over a prescription. I just appreciate them!!"
