"This was my first visit to the Southwestern Eye Center in Nogales, AZ. The wait time was minimal after check in. Facility is clean and the staff are all very friendly. I saw Dr. Flores for the first time, he is pleasant to speak with and was very thorough at my eye exam."

"I recently had an eye exam and cataract surgery was discussed. I knew I was getting close to needing it. From beginning to end, the entire process was easy. The team in Nogales was friendly and incredibly competent with the pre-surgery testing, explaining the surgery and handling the paper work. All of the post surgery visits have been good too. All of my concerns and questions were handled satisfactorily. My vision is greatly improved...it's like looking through clean windows. Previous post from over a year ago: From the time I walked in I knew I would have a positive experience. This was the 2nd time I would have an examination by Dr. Rollins. The first time was a year ago when I had a virus in my eye. He handled that with complete professionalism. This time was for an annual vision/ eye exam. Dr. Rollins is so knowledgeable and good at what he does. I am grateful that I have such a terrific doctor in whom I have complete confidence."

"After two attempts - I will not go back. I had an appt scheduled for Nov 17th at 2:10 pm with Dr Ooms. After waiting for over 1 hour and 30 minutes (nearly 4pm), I went to the receptionist and asked if they were having issues. (There was a gentleman who was there before I was and who had gone up to the office staff many times, checking on his appt. Since he was there ahead of me I assumed he would need to be seen next.) She went and talked with the staff and on her return to her desk she stated that she was sorry but it would be a "bit longer". I asked if she could be more specific and she gave me an estimate of 30 minutes "or so". I asked her to please reschedule me with a "first" appointment of the day. I drove over 20 miles (each way) to this location. She rescheduled me to this morning at 7:30am (Dec 2). I checked in an waited for the other office staff to arrive. After a 15 minute wait, I was escorted to the back to begin my appt. The assistant "measured" the distance in my eyes and then took me to another area in the room and looked at her computer display - and reminded me that I needed to pay a $52 fee to get my eyes tested and then to my surprise, she stated that the doctor that I was going to see "only did medical exams and did not write vision "Rx". WHAT????? I went back to the front desk to the women who set the appt up and she obviously remembered me and said nothing... but was looking for another appt. After having driven 80 miles with nothing to show for it I left. I would not and could not recommend this practice."

"My first visit towards the eventual removal of my cataracts had a calming effect on my concerns. Miss Rodriquez was patient and calmly explained each medical step of the process and what most people’s concerns were at that step and what medical goals were targeted by that procedure. I had a clear picture, whatever my actual vision was, of what my next step was. I can’t be happier."
