"The first time I had blood drawn here, the phlebotomist tried to do the draw without putting gloves on because it was “easier that way.” The second time, they failed to input my order correctly and only 5/6 of the tests on my order were done, rendering the results useless. Now I need to get a new order for the same tests and will have to pay for them a second time because that’s how insurance works. I’m currently on the phone with Intermountain Billing attempting to convince them not to charge me for the first round. That’s 45 minutes of my life I won’t get back and I’m no closer to a resolution. I will not be returning to this lab a third time and strongly recommend that you avoid wasting your time here as well."

"I’m deathly afraid of needles but Sparky made this a really very tolerable experience. No one has ever gotten my veins on the first try and everyone at the clinic made me feel very comfortable."

"The lab mixed up my glucose levels saying my fasting number was 141 when it was really 90 (I was told 90 in person, the online result said 141). I called last Friday to report it, the person I spoke with said the machine probably glitched and they’d have their manager look into and give me a call back...we’ll, i didn’t hear back nor was it fixed until my Drs office called saying they were going to treat me for diabetes (a condition I DON’T have), I explained what happened to them and they were able to finally get answers from the lab with the correct results. I’ve heard of this type of thing happening to people (including to my sister), but I never expected it to actually happen to me. Had I been treated for diabetes my life could have seriously been altered...not to mention if the lab gave my results to someone that is diabetic, they would be left untreated which could result in death! This isn’t just some mishap or something to brush under the rug, this is serious and changes in the system need to be made, whether it’s new equipment or double visual verification. I’m also super disappointed that the lab never contacted me after my call on Friday, nor did they fix the results until my Drs office contacted them and hounded them for answers...it would have all be pushed aside if I didn’t tell my Drs office what had happened. I am seriously extremely frustrated with the whole situation."
