"Customer service is absolutely lacking at the front desk. When I called in to see about making an appointment the first couple of minutes the gal seemed to be pleasant enough. After that she seemed like she wasn't paying much attention and just wanted off the call. When I arrived for the appointment they told me my insurance provider was not accepted there (Which I know to be incorrect). however from the initial atmosphere and responses since walking in I did not want to push the issue and decided to go elsewhere. I have a couple of family members who do like Doctor Carter but I personally would not go back because of the front desk/staff."

"The wait can be long on some days but it is because doctor carter truely cares about his patients and spends quality time with each person. I️ always leave feeling like my kid got the best care around. Thanks Dr. Carter for taking the time to really care for my daughter and not just rushing us out the door!!"

"Dr. Carter is a completely condescending and self important man. He couldn't care less about everyone else's time. His time is apparently more important than everyone else's. I very rarely write negative reviews, but this man should be out of business. Take a look at everyone else's reviews and it will become clear that this man cares nothing about other people's time. I have no patience for doctors who think that since they went to medical school they are somehow more important than everyone else. If you want to see a doctor and don't want to sit in a waiting room for an hour and a half or more with a sick child and then be talked down to, I would suggest you look elsewhere. And like others have mentioned, this was with an appointment."

"Apparently calls are funneled through a Provo office and my appointment time was botched. When I got to my appointment the receptionist in Hurricane told me I was too late and missed my appointment. I explained but the recept. wouldn't listen. I finally went into my apointment and the receptionist spoke poorly of me to the other receptionist with my wife in earshot. She also discussed openly about her church and "blacks". To top it off the PA, who was very nice and helpful, never sent in my prescription so I was unable to get it filled until days later. Overall a bad experience and would not recommend."

"We're from California and had to take son in for possible broken finger. We were greeted with a very helpful receptionist. The nurse was also very polite. Then the doctor came in within two minutes and was great. We were in and out in less then 15 minutes. Anyone looking for quick care and friendly staff, this is the place. Thank You!!!"
