"A thorough, educational museum of town history for Gilbert, the fifth largest city in Arizona. Located in a previous schoolhouse in the historic district and enhanced by an extensive model train layout in the lower level. Worth a visit."

"Wow! Way better than I expected. It doesn't look like much from outside, but there's a lot to see inside. There's a downstairs area where you can go to see the model trains, with stations modeled after the different Arizona cities. Very realistic, and the guy manning the area was very welcoming. Then, there's an outdoor veterans memorial, and walking past that, you see a historic wagon, car, and firetruck. From there, you enter the main building. The rooms are clearly labeled with signs, and everything was well laid out with large-font signs to read. I also enjoyed the replica displays, i.e. the model blacksmith shop, as well as the historical artifacts. Outside, there's old farm equipment and two other rooms- a gallery and a military exhibit section. So cool! You could definitely spend around 2 hours here if you take your time reading each sign and looking around."

"After 5 years of living in Gilbert, I finally made it to this beautiful, well-kept and very interesting museum ♥♥♥ The exhibitions are well organized and the displays are great and easy to understand. Checking the website I found the Paint and Sip class, and I am very excited to participante soon!"

"We all drive by this place on the Southwest corner of Gilbert Rd and Elliot and we all say to ourselves “we should stop by someday”. Well, the day finally came for me and my family and it was well worth it. There is so much to learn about the town’s history in this museum."

"Really nice Musuem. The staff greeted us upon entering and gave us clear directions on how to self tour. The fee was just $5 for seniors. The self tour map was easy to follow. The Musuem is situated in Gilbert's old elementary school built in 1913. The building had been well maintained and is a perfect setting for a local town Musuem. We enjoyed the no pressure self tour and we spent at least 2 hours before leaving for lunch. We probably will bring other family members in the future."
