"As a visitor, this was such a lovely place for a morning walk! Plenty of parking, sidewalks and gravel trails. We also investigated the included nature center. Plenty of seating and picnic areas throughout. The brook was so calming and nice place for meditation."

"Great place to hike, walk, run & bike. Everyone on the trail is nice. Scenery is amazing. So many trails to choose from. Whether you’re hiking by yourself, with your family on the weekends or with a group, I defiantly recommend it. There is no jungle gym for kids but there is a play area where they can run and you can fish at the lake. It’s pet friendly as well. Police substation and nature center for the kiddos are on property."

"My family loves coming here to Birdwatch and see all of the other animals that live here. We make sure to stay on the path, and be respectful and love sharing the park with everyone. we visited on a day where Liberty Wildlife had some great volunteers showing off a few birds."

"This was only the second time I’ve ever been here, but I will definitely be back anytime I’m visiting the Phoenix area. Such a beautiful pond and park. The best time to come here is right before dusk. Enjoy a walk around the with a beautiful sunset on the horizon. Enjoy the wildlife and the sounds of quiet suburbia, then after dark, walk over to the beautiful, peaceful, and fun veterans memorial that is there. The light boxes/pillars that are there are just amazing to look at and walk around in. The displays and information are inspiring. The design, architecture, and the construction of this area is truly astounding! I work with concrete as a profession and I can truly say that the walls, walkways, and stairs were constructed with incredible precision and should have made the contractor, architects, and engineers proud of their craft. A crowning touch to a beautiful park and tribute to those who have served our country! Thank you to all of the people and entities that made this place a reality."

"Beautiful place to bring the family and leashed dogs. You can stay on the main cement circle around the lake or venture into the dirt trails to view water features, cacti, scrub, birds, and more. Fishing and picnicing is permitted. There is also a desert wildlife museum."
