Located in Chandler, Arizona, the Tumbleweed Park Recreation Center is a 62,000-square-foot facility within Tumbleweed Regional Park. Offering a wide range of classes, activities, and events for all ages, the center is designed to help patrons get and stay active. From Tumble Tots to Teen Fitness, Personal Training to Silver Sneakers, there is something for everyone here.
The indoor play area is perfect for children to play under parent/guardian supervision, with plenty of toys and equipment to keep them entertained. Group exercise classes cater to all ages and fitness levels, encouraging movement at your own pace with guided instruction.
Block-Fest, held on May 5th at 11 a.m., is a build-a-thon featuring giant foam blocks for kids aged 2-5 to unleash their creativity. The center is open Monday to Friday from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with holiday hours from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Tumbleweed Recreation Center also offers venues for events such as meetings, seminars, and birthday parties. With party options designed for 10 kids aged 3-10, the staff can take care of everything for you. "It's really big and well maintained. It has multi-use fields, shaded playgrounds, tennis and volleyball courts, restrooms, and walking trails. I have been to many picnics over the years under the large shaded pavilion. The Tumbleweed Recreation Center is also located here for local Chandler residents."
"This was my first visit to the park and I was amazed to see such a lush green lawn during the summer. No doubt that this place is maintained very well. Has good spots to have food with friends and family, a covered play area for the kids, and an ample amount of parking space. This is one of those places in Phoenix where I would definitely be going back again."
