Holiday Inn Express & Suites Phoenix West - Buckeye, an IHG Hotel

"Overall pretty good. My daughter wanted to go swimming and get ice that was her only requests while we were there. The breakfast was our favorite part of it all. Here is my experience.... I know of course it's not summer and it was just getting warm but the website said a pool is heated but in fact when we got there the hot tub was dirty and cold. So we couldn't use it. I turned on the hot tub and gave it a day, I checked the next day and it did warm up. I wish we could have used it both days we were there. The Ice maker on our floor wouldnt spit out any ice. Went to the others didn't have any except the main floor. But we got some ice while we were there. We absolutely loved the breakfast they offered the Lady that works it was amazing so sweet and kept up on everything. They had a lot of different options! Cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, and fruits etc. then their main course that they offer. Thank you to the breakfast staff!! And all the works that work there."

"A nice Holiday Inn Express in a location convenient to stores and restaurants. You can hear the highway traffic but they leave complimentary ear plugs in the rooms."

"If you like no TV (the remote didn’t work and they didn’t have a spare) and no soap…. seriously??? … then this is the Holiday Inn for you! Also it’s very noisy with the I10 traffic, but we knew that beforehand. I took the remote to the desk at check out and was told that the night shift girl had not put any note on either issue. At the VERY LEAST document the problem so it doesn’t carry on to the next guest. Come on IHG- get it together!!"

"Clean rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast was minimal. Got there at 8:30 am no eggs, fruit was gone and not replenished. Just meh. Disappointed. Everything else was good."

"First off the girl at the counter was basically never there during the night you could have walked away with really anything. There should be a page button or something you can call to get service. Secondly, the window on the second floor is bolted in. It made me feel super claustrophobic. Overall the hot tub was worth it. The room was clean and exactly what I needed it to do. They do have hot breakfast but it didn't seem like anybody was there. The skybar or whatever they call it that sells all the extra stuff. You have to find an attendant to actually get somewhere with that which is nearly impossible. If you're going in there in the evening it seems. All in all would I go back if I was in the area? Sure because I know exactly what to expect and overall the experience wasn't horrible. What would I go out of my way to do this? No probably not."
