Rodeway Inn Kingman Route 66

"Other than location, this place was scary. I prepaid for the room and didn't realize how dirty the place was until I got there and it was late. Family didn't go under the covers because we didn't know what was cleaned and not. Found gum on the wall, dresser didn't have handles, draws were dirty, lamp missing light bulb, toilet paper dispenser was broken and the deadbolt had been busted before us like someone broke in and was just painted over. Advertised and had pictures of breakfast, but none. My key card got "timed out" and had to go to the office to get it reactivated. Didn't dare take a shower either. Shame on me for not checking out the reviews first."

"We stayed here a week and had a great stay and a good time. Extra large rooms with refrigerator and microwave. Location can't be beat it's a little bit loud because of highway 66 right out front but they have rooms in the back if you need quiet. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again."

"Kingman stay as expected. It was fine price/ value deal. Mid-way to Vegas and conveniently off the road. The room had a sizable amount of dust on the floors, walls and ceilings, and smelled a bit. If that doesn’t bother you, then it’s ok place to crush for the night. We did not explore anything around because it wasn’t desirable."

"STAFF (+) friendly, helpful when directing where we could get breakfast. A CASH deposit was required even though it was already paid with a credit card at the time of online reservation. ( I hope we get it back!). BREAKFAST (-) Was advertised! Yet "We haven't had breakfast for at least 2 years" per staff. Location (-) Several miles off freeway. Front office easy to miss because it has the signage of an Indian restaurant (India). On a hill: front office and most rooms required climbing stairs. However, It's a motel, not a hotel! (All hallways were outside). Room 280: CONDITION: QUIET! Old, lots of peeling paint. Bathroom fan KITCHEN (-) Advertised as having "a kitchen". They did NOT. Had a refrigerator & a microwave, in separate spaces & an extra "card" table by the room's front window. DIRTY! (-) 2 very nice "office" chairs, both seats very dirty, heavily marked up. An overstuffed chair, seat comfortable, but dirty. Bathroom: Old shampoo and a used bar soap left on bathtub. Had a fan, Very loud but it was linked to light switch so couldn't turn the loud noise off. Carpet dirty. [King] Bed. Mattress bouncy - whole bed bounced when a person got in (disturbing a sleeping partner). Dipped - not comfortable."
