"We had a horrible experience this past weekend at this hotel, first of all the staff were extremely rude. We had to wait so long for the elevators, the room was dirty and the water from the sink, toilet and shower was yellow nasty. We went to eat to feathers cafe, the waitress was extremely rude, she walked us to our table and she literally threw the menus at the table and left, they took forever to bring us our food which was cold and bad. We will never coming back to this hotel, we only had bad experiences. We were supposed to stay the weekend but we left the next day."

"The room we had was very clean and worked well for us with a pretty decently comfortable bed. Movie theater was very nice. Food is pricey in the food court, cafe, etc. As well as no coffee in rooms so you have to spend a fortune in coffee while you're there buying from restaurant or coffee shop. They definitely could use a better variety of card tables as well. Or craps or both! Mostly have slots. Anyhow, it was a decent price, and love the location away from town with the golf course literally across the street."

"Love this place. Great if you have children. They have a kid quest, arcade and theater. Also plenty of food choices. If you're a gambler it's actually fairly lucky with a lot of gaming (slots) choices. The pool and beach area is awesome and the room accommodations are nice and roomy."

"Stayed at the Avi for the first time. I've been coming to this area for over a year now. It's a nice place to stay at and visit. They have several places to dine in as well as a fast food court. That serves Subway Panda Express and pizza. What struck me as kind of neat but odd was that there's a play place for children back by the fast food court. The rooms were very nice. Well spaced for the area. Not much to look at when you look outside the windows. But the service was pretty good. I'd recommend staying here over staying in the other high-end hotels that are in town. I paid $65 for a night with two double queen beds."

"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. The room was pretty basic, but it was clean. It would have been nice to have a microwave to go along with the mini fridge, but it wasn't a deal breaker. The pool(s) were awesome. I really like how they've got two distinct "zones" laid out, with the quieter/more "traditional" setup on the backside. We didn't check out the private beach, but it looked nice. The casino was way too smoke-filled for us to spend much time there. We're not huge gamblers anyway, so it wasn't the end of the world. But it was definitely very smoky. The location was decent, although the drive in definitely made me feel like we were in the middle of nowhere. We enjoyed our week stay and will almost definitely return."
