"I forgot about how I felt after my last stay. First impression walking in the staff is always hidden behind wall so you’re never greeted. I always have to say I’m here and she said I’ll be right there. I went down and heard the 3-11 lady check in another guest and she was so much kinder to her. I even mentioned it to her as I approached asking what time GM would be in. I explained I would have loved to be greeted so warmly! When I work the front desk because I’m in hospitality, I’d ask if there is something I can do but the 3-11 and 11-7 couldn’t care less. The 11-7man never once smiled, looked like he wanted to serve guest , etc. My room was pretty filthy! I dirtied the wash clothes (3) from the sticky floor, the wheel from bed was in middle of floor, the tables still had sticky/condensation marks on all tables, the floors needed vacuumed as there was a lot of dirt and pocket linen and a price tag right under bed skirt, the tv has so much build up from not being wiped correctly- working too fast and not thoroughly, hair all over sheets and pillow cases…. After how I was treated or not treated. As a Hilton member and employee I had to ask for my benefit water. So many misses! The amount of dust accumulated on the lamps and around the bases- yuck! I work at a Hampton Inn. Learned so much of what I would never do from your accommodations. The stained chair is gross and can be cleaned by maintenance and the stopper in the bathroom doesn’t hold water- drains. The shower marks I easily wiped with my finger so it was NOT cleaned either prior to my stay. Beware customers and inspect your room. It’s too dang costly to stay in an unfit room. Don’t forget to look behind headboards, so much garbage. So HK is not in fact “keeping” I hate that I arrived at 11pm and had to clean the room I reserved. I also am disappointed that your workers at your desk missed many opportunities to seek what I needed help with. Find customer obsessed humans because I haven’t felt impressed with the “hospitality”. I came again one half month later because my room was super and clean last time and the agent at desk was really great. He also missed Hilton honors. You know there is a reason for that program and you are supposed to be asking and offering before the guest has to inquire. Your guest should never have to clean their room nor should they be inconvenienced. You should be paying me for cleaning it to STANDARDS!!!! Pictures don’t do justice whatsoever. I also requested that housekeeping not knock before I check out. Last time 9am???? The DND is there for a reason and your front desk should communicate to HK if someone in fact checks out— STANDARDS- don’t knock before 11am!!!!!! Never again until you actually change the staff hidden behind wall always sitting and not serving and have a HK supervisor that actually checks all units. If I wasn’t exhausted from driving 8 plus hours I would have left. Not Hilton standards whatsoever. The highly notable finger prints all over doorknob as well…. Come on HI Kanab. Cannot wait to see who manages this place. Reaching out….. Edit: charged a pet fee for same service animal I brought in January. Not charged then? Make it make sense? The front desk supervisor is argumentative versus using empathy."

"Our stay was the worst. We arrived at 1 am with three kids, our room was not fully cleaned. We lifted up the sheets and the sheets were covered in hair. They got us another room and the sheets were also covered in hair, and the room in general looked like it wasn’t cleaned very well. We asked for a refund and wanted to leave but the manager said they would refund us and find us a clean room if we stayed, so they finally found us a clean room and the next morning staff told us they “ripped apart the rooms looking for dirty sheets and couldn’t find anything” so they didn’t refund us. I tried to show them the pictures and they weren’t interested they treated us like we were just lying to try and to get a refund. Waiting an hour to get a clean room with three grumpy kids isn’t the best experience. The staff stated the manager didn’t want to speak to us either. Couldn’t give us a manager to talk to at all. I never complain about hotels but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. No one took us serious about our concerns. No one wants to lay in dirty sheets. Especially with your kids. The only positive thing is the breakfast lady is amazing she deserves a raise. I never have had such a negative experience at a hotel before. Do these sheets look clean?"

"The woman who runs the breakfast is the best part of this whole hotel! She was lovely and kind and helpful. Rooms are a good size, nice beds, showers and pillows. Pool/hot tub could use either a deep clean or update. Would be back again."

"Had a great stay at this location. Super clean bathroom, shower and the room. Staff was nice and we were always greeted with a smile. Great breakfast too. Folded eggs with melted cheese in beyween, potatoes, Waffle, several choices of juice, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, tea, bread, muffins and so on. Lots of choices to choose from. Would happily stay here again if we are ever in Kanab."

"We stayed at this hotel in early October, perfect weather! We were in town because my wife was participating in a series of runs on trails in different National Parks close to Kanab, so it was a perfect “base camp.” It did not disappoint!! From the moment we walked in, Cody, the host on duty was very gracious, accommodating, and informative on what to do and where around the hotel. The hotel is perfectly located right in the heart of downtown Kanab and walking distance to shops, restaurants and a museum! The hotel also has a heated indoor pool and jacuzzi, which was perfect for relaxing post-run for my wife and something fun for the kid to do to wind down. I highly recommend this hotel and will hopefully be back soon! This town is awesome!"
