Churchill's Fine Cigars

"This place is amazing, the selection of cigars and bourbon is phenomenal, the setting and vibe are perfect. Everything was 5 stars our entire evening, until it wasn't. The bartender was trying to close, she did last call at 11:00 and had started getting more aggressive trying to get folks to leave. This alone is totally understandable, her shift was over and she wanted to go home, absolutely no problem here at all. We had ordered a ride which was 6 minutes away. I told her that and she said we had to wait outside, there were still at least 15 other people still at the bar. If we were the last ones in the place that is totally understandable. But no one else in the entire bar was moving or listening to her. We were the only table who was working on leaving with a car on the way. One of the members of our party said to us he was going to smoke his cigar until the others started to leave or the car arrived. She heard this and laid into all of us with a profanity laced diatribe on how we were disrespecting her when we were literally the only people in the bar who were respecting her by planning to leave. It was very aggressive and unnecessary to single us out. Because of this we probably won't be back again."

"Excellent indoor spot for cigars and drinks. The humidor is big with a good sized collection of cigars. They also sell accessories like humidors, lighters, cutters, etc. There are several tables and chairs to sit at as well as bar seating. The bar has a really good selection of drinks. Would highly recommend this spot!"

"Churchill’s is a worthy stop for cigar afficionados and those who may like a strong drink with their friends. The location alone makes it a great meetup spot for an afternoon or late evening stop. The servers make you feel right at home and the cigar selection is robust, whether you’re just grabbing some sticks for the road or wanting to stay and relax while you enjoy."

"I visited here today in search of some cigars for a special someone. I called in first to be sure I was in the right plaza because there was some construction being done on 44th St, blocking the entrance. I spoke with Bart on the phone, a real nice fellow that guided me right to them. I explained what I needed and was pointed in the right direction. I was helped without judgment and felt I was treated well there. I was able to get three cigars, two recommended by staff and one more recommended by another gentleman in the humidor. The atmosphere seemed very laid back and all the other patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves and kept to themselves. I know from reading their reviews that the question about women being welcomed was asked so I wanted to add that there were at least two women patrons there during my short visit. All in all from this visit alone, I will be back in the future!"
