Gene's Barbershop Est. 1975 is a traditional, family-friendly barbershop located at 2424 North Pantano Road in Tucson, Arizona. Established by Gene Collins, a master barber, magician, musician, and actor, the shop has been providing high-quality barber services since April 1st, 1975. After 38 years of ownership, Gene and his wife, Charlene, retired in 2013 and sold the shop to the current owner.
The barbershop offers a full range of services, including traditional straight razor shaves and haircuts, all at reasonable prices. The shop features 5 antique Koken Barber chairs and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for both children and adults. The goal of Gene's Barbershop is to provide the best traditional barber experience in Tucson, with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.
The current owner, who was born in Tucson and has a background in basketball and barbering, took over the shop in 2013. He continues the tradition of providing top-notch barber services and a fun, welcoming environment for all patrons. The shop is open Tuesday through Friday from 8am to 5pm and Saturdays from 7:30am to 12pm, with walk-ins and appointments welcome.
In addition to the owner, Jason Gonzales joined the team in 2018, bringing his passion for barbering and years of experience to Gene's Barbershop. With a focus on customer satisfaction and a love for the barber business, Jason is dedicated to providing the best services possible to all clients.
